NiP Expands Bitcoin Mining, Reaches $14 Million Milestone

Esports Team Ninjas in Pyjamas Mines $14 Million in Bitcoin as Operation Expands
NIP Group Inc., the publicly traded parent company of the esports team Ninjas in Pyjamas, said Thursday that it mined approximately 151.4 Bitcoin during its first three months of Bitcoin mining operations, spanning September through November.
The company valued that production at about $14.5 million, based on the Bitcoin price used in its announcement.
NIP Group also said it is expanding its Bitcoin mining operation, signaling that the company plans to scale the initiative beyond its initial launch period.
The update adds to a broader trend of non-crypto companies exploring Bitcoin mining as a business line alongside their primary operations. In NIP Group’s case, the move stands out because it links a well-known esports brand to Bitcoin production, reflecting how public companies continue to diversify into digital asset-related activities.
