Robinhood’s Prediction Markets Debut: Combos, Not Parlays

Robinhood Offers Prediction Market “Custom Combos” for Pro Football Outcomes

Robinhood said Friday it is enabling “Custom Combos” for users wagering on professional football outcomes, expanding the company’s prediction market features as U.S. gambling activity rises alongside the NFL postseason.

The rollout builds on Robinhood’s partnership with Kalshi, a regulated prediction market platform that lists event-based contracts. The new feature is positioned as a way for users to bundle multiple football outcomes into a single wager-like product, while avoiding the traditional sportsbook framing.

Unlike a standard parlay, where a sportsbook sets odds and payouts using its own model, Robinhood said payouts for Custom Combos are determined through Requests For Quotes (RFQs). In that setup, pricing is produced via a quote process rather than a fixed, independently posted parlay line.

The move underscores Robinhood’s broader effort to flesh out its prediction market offering during a period when event-based wagering products are drawing increased attention in the U.S., particularly around major sports calendars.
