Bybit Unveils My Bank: February IBAN Fiat-Crypto Transfers

Bybit to Launch “My Bank” Feature for IBAN Fiat-Crypto Transfers in February
Crypto exchange Bybit plans to launch a new feature called “My Bank” in February, designed to support fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat transfers using IBAN (International Bank Account Number) rails.
The upcoming feature appears aimed at simplifying how users move money between traditional bank accounts and crypto services, using a bank-style transfer format commonly used across Europe and other regions that rely on IBAN for cross-border and domestic payments.
IBAN-based transfers are widely used in traditional finance because they provide a standardized way to identify bank accounts and route payments. Adding an IBAN-linked option can make it easier for customers who prefer bank transfers over card payments or third-party payment processors, and may also improve clarity around settlement and account identification.
The announcement fits into a broader trend of crypto platforms expanding their fiat infrastructure. As exchanges compete on user experience and regulatory expectations rise in many jurisdictions, integrating familiar banking workflows—such as bank-account transfers—has become a common way to reduce friction for users moving between fiat and crypto.
