Strive Expands Bitcoin Holdings to 36,818 BTC with 1,223 Additions

Strive Adds 1,223 Bitcoin as Corporate Treasury Reaches 36,818 BTC

Strive Holdings has expanded its corporate Bitcoin treasury to 36,818 BTC after disclosing a new purchase of 1,223 BTC, according to an announcement from CEO Matt Cole on Monday, Oct. 19.

The company said it acquired the bitcoin between Wednesday and Friday of the prior week, paying an average of $81,734 per BTC. That puts the purchase at roughly $100 million.

The latest buy marked Strive’s third major Bitcoin purchase in eight days. In total, Strive’s acquisitions for the week amounted to 4,045 BTC, which the company indicated was approximately $335 million.

With the update, Strive’s Bitcoin treasury now carries a market value of more than $3 billion, based on the company’s figures.

The purchases also arrived alongside new details about Strive’s capital-markets activity tied to its SATS offering. Unchainedcrypto reported that the company priced a 7 million-share offering of its new SATS preferred, describing it as a perpetual Series A security that pays a 15% dividend, priced at $90 per share.

Unchainedcrypto also reported that Strive intends to increase its existing dividend reserve at closing to cover the first 18 months of SATS dividend payments, setting aside the equivalent of $22.50 per SATS share from cash and securities the company holds.

The series of purchases underscores how quickly Bitcoin treasury strategies can scale for companies that repeatedly access capital markets and deploy proceeds into bitcoin, making disclosure cadence and funding structure key parts of how investors track these balance-sheet-focused strategies.
