BitGo Unveils AI-Powered Gokubu App Through New Innovation Lab

BitGo Launches Labs Unit With AI-Powered Gokubu Consumer App

BitGo Holdings has launched BitGo Labs, a research and innovation unit focused on developing applications for digital assets. The initiative will initially explore the intersection of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency.

According to BitGo, Labs will design, launch and test applications built on the company’s digital asset technology and APIs. The unit also plans to publish research, develop prototype protocols and produce reference implementations, while working with builders, academics and institutions in the crypto and AI sectors.

BitGo Labs is launching alongside Gokubu, a consumer application centered on an AI-powered payment card. The card is designed to work wherever Visa is accepted and to help users optimize spending through personalized financial assistance and automated rewards selection.

BitGo describes Gokubu as a way for users to receive tailored AI-driven guidance and potentially obtain more value from everyday transactions. The product is currently live, with user sign-ups available through Gokubu’s website.

The launch marks a move beyond BitGo’s established focus on digital asset infrastructure and institutional workflows. Through Labs, the company is seeking to apply that infrastructure to consumer-facing products while testing practical uses for AI in crypto-related financial services.
