Franklin Templeton Launches Tokenized Treasury Fund on HashKey

Franklin Templeton’s Tokenized Treasury Fund Lands on HashKey
Franklin Templeton has brought its tokenized U.S. Treasury fund to HashKey, expanding the fund’s availability through the digital asset platform.
The move adds another distribution venue for a product that uses blockchain-based tokens to represent exposure to short-term U.S. government debt, a structure commonly referred to as a tokenized Treasury fund.
Tokenized Treasury products have become a prominent part of the broader “real-world asset” trend in crypto, where traditional financial instruments are issued or tracked on-chain. They are generally designed to combine the underlying characteristics of government debt—such as low credit risk and yield tied to money-market rates—with blockchain settlement and transfer rails.
By listing the fund on HashKey, Franklin Templeton is extending access to a regulated, mainstream asset manager’s on-chain Treasury offering through a crypto-native marketplace, reflecting the continued convergence between traditional asset management and digital asset infrastructure.
