HTX Expands Global Crypto Engagement Through Ecosystem Co-Building

From TOKEN2049 to ecosystem co-building, HTX expands its global industry engagement in Singapore

HTX used TOKEN2049 Singapore, held October 6–8, as a platform to broaden its outreach across the crypto industry, combining conference-floor visibility with DAO-led community events and private meetings aimed at ecosystem development and partnership building.

The company’s activities spanned three main tracks: a public presence through HTX Ventures at the main summit, ecosystem and community programming organized by HTX DAO, and smaller in-person gatherings designed for direct discussions with partners and contributors.

TOKEN2049 is one of the industry’s largest international conference series, bringing together crypto companies, investors, developers, and institutions. For firms like HTX, the event functions as a concentrated venue for networking, trend discussion, and collaboration opportunities across regions.

HTX Ventures spotlights the brand on the conference floor

HTX Ventures, the company’s global investment arm, exhibited at TOKEN2049 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. HTX said its booth drew steady visitor traffic, supported by brand displays, on-site community activities, and merchandise intended to facilitate face-to-face engagement with attendees.

Justin Sun, an advisor to HTX, attended related events and visited the HTX Ventures booth to meet with the team and other industry participants, according to the release.

HTX DAO takes discussions beyond the booth

Alongside the summit presence, HTX DAO hosted a series of events positioned around longer-term ecosystem building. On October 6, it held “Future Night,” where HTX DAO ambassador Molly shared updates on the DAO’s work on ecosystem mechanisms, community development, and its on-chain ecosystem.

In a video address, Sun outlined themes he views as shaping the sector’s next phase: closer integration between traditional finance and crypto, expanding roles for stablecoins in payments and settlement, and continued experimentation with tokenized representations of traditional assets such as bonds, funds, and gold. He also emphasized that as AI agents participate more directly in economic activity, supporting infrastructure such as digital identity, account systems, and autonomous transaction capabilities may become more important.

Molly said HTX DAO is exploring potential token utility and ecosystem applications, and plans to establish regional community hubs in the fourth quarter to support local events and ongoing community participation. She also pointed to developer engagement efforts, including hackathons aimed at connecting with university developers globally, with several projects under exploration or development within the $HTX ecosystem.

Informal gatherings and private meetings to deepen ties

HTX DAO also hosted “HTX DAO Reunion” from October 6 to 8, bringing industry representatives, ecosystem partners, and community members together aboard a yacht for informal discussions. HTX framed the format as a way to move beyond online coordination and support sustained collaboration through in-person interaction.

Separately, HTX held a private industry dinner for invited participants, ecosystem contributors, and partners. The company described the dinner as an opportunity for direct exchanges on industry developments and potential collaboration in a smaller setting than a large conference.

  • Public engagement: HTX Ventures participated at TOKEN2049 to increase visibility and expand its network.
  • Ecosystem initiatives: HTX DAO hosted events focused on community building, developer outreach, and on-chain ecosystem development.
  • Partner discussions: Private gatherings complemented the public summit with more direct, relationship-focused conversations.

Why it matters

The Singapore week activities illustrate how major industry conferences are increasingly used not only for marketing and deal flow, but also for coordinating broader ecosystem efforts, including community organization and developer engagement. HTX positioned its approach as a combination of brand presence, community co-building, and partnership cultivation.

Looking ahead, HTX said it plans to continue international engagement, expand ecosystem collaboration, and improve platform features in line with applicable regulatory requirements.
