IVF Firm Buys 146,432 XRP, Then Sells All

An IVF Company Bought 146,432 XRP Last Year, Then Sold It All

NewGenIvf Group Limited, a fertility services provider preparing for a Nasdaq listing, disclosed in a recent registration statement that it bought and later sold a small holding of XRP during 2025.

According to the filing, NewGenIvf purchased 146,432 XRP in 2025, disposed of all of it before Dec. 31, 2025, and recorded a profit of $10,849 from the round-trip trade.

The disclosure appears in an amended registration statement submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). NewGenIvf is structured as a British Virgin Islands holding company with operations conducted through subsidiaries in the Cayman Islands and across parts of Asia, including Hong Kong, Thailand, Kyrgyzstan, and Cambodia. The company reports in U.S. dollars, the filing notes.

The XRP transaction stands out because it is unusual for an operating healthcare company—particularly one focused on fertility and IVF services—to engage in crypto purchases at all, even at a modest size. In the context of a public offering process, such details matter because SEC registration materials are meant to give prospective investors a clear picture of a company’s financial activities and risk exposure.

At the same time, the filing indicates the exposure was temporary and fully closed out by year-end, limiting any ongoing connection between the company’s balance sheet and crypto markets.

More broadly, the episode highlights how crypto-related activity can surface in unexpected places in public-company disclosures. Registration statements often contain granular notes that may not be prominent elsewhere but become relevant to investors evaluating governance, treasury decisions, and the scope of non-core financial activity.
