Strongpoint Taps Quantus for Post-Quantum Custody Partnership

Post-Quantum Custody Platform Strongpoint Adds Quantus As Development Partner

Project Eleven said it plans to add support for the Quantus Network to Strongpoint, its institutional custody platform designed for the transition to post-quantum cryptography. Quantus will join as a development partner on the integration, which the companies said is targeted for the first quarter of 2027.

The plan was disclosed on Oct. 7, 2026. The companies emphasized that what was announced is a roadmap and partnership arrangement, not a live product release.

Under the proposed collaboration, Quantus will help shape how Strongpoint handles key management, governance, and transaction workflows for institutional users on the Quantus Network. Availability details beyond the target window were not provided.

The announcement places a spotlight on a practical custody challenge emerging as the industry prepares for quantum-resistant cryptography: institutions may need to manage assets across multiple networks that are adopting different post-quantum signature schemes and moving on different timelines.

Project Eleven positions Strongpoint as a “crypto-agile” control layer intended to reduce the operational burden on custodians and institutional holders as blockchains change the cryptographic standards underneath them. In its framing, institutions should be able to keep consistent policies for approvals and audits without rebuilding their infrastructure for each network upgrade.

Project Eleven has previously said its review of the 20 largest Layer 1 networks by market capitalization found a fragmented post-quantum migration picture: only 10 had published technical proposals, roadmaps, or implementation paths, spanning at least six distinct post-quantum signature schemes.

Strongpoint was introduced publicly on Oct. 6, 2026, with the Zcash Foundation named as its initial development partner. Project Eleven has said Strongpoint is targeted for production deployment in Q4 2026, and that the platform’s rollout follows a $20 million Series A completed in January 2026 and its acquisition of Riva Labs in September 2026 to integrate post-quantum multi-party computation (MPC) and automated cryptanalysis into its enterprise products.

Quantus, for its part, also maintains migration.fail, a public tracker aimed at measuring how much of the crypto industry remains exposed to quantum-related risks. In the Strongpoint partnership, Quantus’ role is positioned as helping implement institutional-grade custody patterns on a network designed with post-quantum cryptography as a core feature.

Together, the announcements highlight how post-quantum readiness is shifting from a theoretical security concern to an operational question for the custody layer: how to maintain consistent controls as blockchains adopt new cryptographic primitives at different speeds.
