Quantus Joins Strongpoint to Boost Post-Quantum Custody

Post-Quantum Custody Platform Strongpoint Adds Quantus as Development Partner
Project Eleven said Quantus has joined as a development partner for Strongpoint, its institutional custody platform designed to help organizations manage digital assets as blockchain networks transition to post-quantum cryptography.
Under the plan disclosed on 7 October 2026, Project Eleven intends to add support for the Quantus Network inside Strongpoint, with the two firms targeting integration support in the first quarter of 2027. The announcement describes planned work rather than a live product release.
Strongpoint is positioned as a “crypto-agile” control layer for custody—aimed at keeping key management, transaction approval, and audit workflows consistent even as underlying networks adopt different quantum-resistant signature schemes on different timelines.
The partnership adds a second development collaboration to Strongpoint. Project Eleven previously launched the platform with the Zcash Foundation as an initial development partner, bringing experience in privacy-preserving cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, and shielded key management.
Project Eleven’s framing reflects a practical custody challenge: post-quantum migration is not happening uniformly across the industry. The company has said its review of the 20 largest Layer 1 networks by market capitalization found that only 10 had published proposals, roadmaps, or implementation paths for post-quantum migration, spanning at least six different post-quantum signature schemes.
That fragmentation matters for institutions because conventional custody systems typically assume the cryptography securing today’s private keys will remain stable. Strongpoint is being built around the possibility that it will not, and that institutions may need to hold and move assets across networks that adopt different post-quantum standards.
Project Eleven has also emphasized that quantum computing remains a long-term risk rather than a confirmed present-day break of Bitcoin or other major blockchain cryptography, noting there is no known machine capable of extracting current private keys at scale. The company’s approach focuses on readiness for a transition rather than responding to an active cryptographic failure.
Strongpoint is targeted for production deployment in Q4 2026. Project Eleven has said the rollout builds on its $20 million Series A completed in January 2026 and its acquisition of Riva Labs in September 2026 to integrate post-quantum multi-party computation (MPC) and automated cryptanalysis into its enterprise product suite.
